Feature 2: Tasks

Overview Assign and track maintenance tasks efficiently.

Key Function

  • Create detailed tasks with descriptions, frequency and deadlines.

  • Assign tasks to crew members and monitor progress.

Step-by-Step Guide to add a task :

  1. Go to the Tasks Section in the PMS Module.

  2. Click "Add" in the top right of the screen to add a new task.

  3. Fill in the details and save.

  4. To filter tasks you can use the tasks filter at the top of the page.

  5. There are 3 different views of logged tasks. You can find these views on the top right hand side of the page next to the search bar

Step-by-Step Guide to Add an event based task trigger :

  1. Click on the 'events' button

  2. Click 'Create'

  3. Give the event a name (for eg. Engine maintenance)

  4. Add the task. you can create multiple tasks for each event. Make sure you label them clearly. You can the create sub tasks for each task.

  5. Assign the tasks to specific users and/or departments

  6. You can give each task a clear description.

  7. Then save the template

  8. When that specific event occurs, you can click on the play icon next to the event. You can either schedule the task trigger or you can send it out immediately. Once sent all related departments and users will be notified.
