Invite Users

Overview The Invite Users feature allows administrators to add new users to the yacht management platform by sending them an invitation email. This process ensures that new users can easily join the system with the correct roles and permissions assigned.

  • User Details – Collect essential information such as name, email, role, and rank.

  • Invitation Email – Automatically send an invitation email with a link to join the platform.

  • Role Assignment – Assign appropriate roles to new users to control their access and permissions.

  • Rank Specification – Specify the rank of the user, ensuring they are placed in the correct hierarchical structure.

Step-by-Step Guides

  1. Access Invite Users

  • Navigate to the invite users tab on the left side bar under user settings

  1. Enter User Details

  • Fill in the required fields:

  • Name: Enter the full name of the user.

  • Email: Enter the user's email address.

  • Role: Select the appropriate role from the drop-down menu (e.g., Administrator, Manager, Crew Member).

  1. Send Invitation

  • Review the entered information for accuracy.

  • Click "Send Invitation" to send an email to the user with a link to join the platform.

  1. Click on Add then Save

  • Q: What happens if a user does not receive the invitation email?

    • A: Ask the user to check their spam or junk folder. If the email is still not found, you can resend the invitation from the Invitations tab our contact our Customer Support team.

  • Q: Can I change a user's role after they have joined?

    • A: Yes, you can update a user's role in the User Settings under the Roles section.
